Saving Figures in Matplotlib

Each exercise in this unit requires you to save a figure as a PDF. The Python library Matplotlib provides a built-in method to save figures in many formats, including PDF. Follow these steps to save a figure as a PDF:

  1. Click the floppy disk icon in the plot window.

  2. Select the location where you want to save the figure.

  3. From the Save as type dropdown menu, select “Portable Document Format (*.pdf)”.
